My transition to all natural and vegan hygiene products.

Standard

The purpose of this post is to show the progress I have made switching from conventional hygiene products to natural, vegan products that I feel good about buying.

Here is a list of products that I now swear by:

Toothbrush

Preserve Toothbrush:

  • Handle is made out of recycled yogurt cups
  • Made in the USA
  • After you are done using it, mail it back in the prepaid postage mailer for recycling
  • Preserve does not test on animals

Razor

Triple Razor

Preserve Razor

  • Handle is made out of recycled yogurt cups
  • Completely recyclable after use
  • Made in the USA
  • Preserve does not test on animals

ToothPaste

(Work in progress….I am still trying to find a toothpaste that is natural, not tested on animals, and affordable. Any recommendations would be great!)

Deodorant

(Work in progress…I recently fell in love with Tom’s deodorant but found out that they are owned by L’Oreal.(L’Oreal tests on animals) Any recommendations would be great for this one too!)

Feminine Products

Natracare Tampons and Pads

  • Made from 100% organic Cotton
  • All products are totally-chlorine free and do not contain any synthetic materials, such as rayon, polypropylene, or any chemical additives such as fragrances or dyes
  • Natracare does not test on animals
  • Approved by The Vegetarian Society

Shampoo/Conditioner/Body wash

Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap (I love the almond scent!)

  • Made with Organic Oils
  • Fair Trade
  • Pure-Castile Soap that is vegan
  • Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap is not tested on animals

I think that covers all of the products that I use. It is a great feeling knowing that the companies that I am supporting are doing their best to fight for causes that I too believe in.
